Why Teams Use LOFTai

LOFTai is one place where a team makes AI-generated images, video, audio and 3D, and keeps track of all of it. It was built by people from film, animation and visual effects, and it works the way a real production works.

The problem it solves

Most AI tools make one picture at a time. You type a prompt, download the result, and the file lands in a folder with a random name. A week later nobody remembers which prompt made it, which version the director liked, or where the final one is.

That is fine for one person experimenting. It falls apart for a team making a film, a series or a campaign, where hundreds of results have to be compared, approved, cut together and delivered.

What makes it different

Everything you make stays organized

Results land inside your project, attached to what they belong to: a character, a location, a shot. Nothing is a loose file. Anyone on the team can find the current version of anything.

Loft remembers how everything was made

Every result keeps the prompt, the model, the settings and the images it started from. You can always answer "how did we make this?", make it again, or branch off a new variation from any point in its history.

You can just ask

The Assistant is a production helper you talk to in plain language. Ask it to make a shot, to find every shot that is still missing a final version, or to show what the project cost this month. It does the work and records the result in the project.

It learns your house rules

Write your conventions down once: your visual style, your image sizes, the models you prefer. Loft calls this a playbook. The Assistant applies it every time, so nobody has to repeat themselves and new team members get the house style for free.

Review and approval are built in

The team reviews work together and leaves notes pinned to an exact frame of a video. Each take is marked as selected, approved or dropped. That decision then drives the rest of the project, so everyone always works from the approved version.

The edit keeps itself up to date

Assemble your shots into a cut in Loft's editor. When a shot gets a newly approved version, the cut picks it up automatically. When you are ready, export a video, an edit list, or a complete hand-off package for an editor working in their own editing software.

Many models, one workflow

Loft is not tied to one AI model. You pick the model that suits the job, and the way you work stays the same whichever you choose.

Work in the browser or on your own files

Work entirely in the browser with your files stored online. Or point Loft at a folder on your own computer or shared drive with the free desktop app, and keep your files where they already are.

You can see what you spend

Every generation shows its cost before you run it. Spending is tracked by project, by shot or asset, by model and by month.

Who it is for

Studios, small teams and independent creators making film, animation, visual effects, series and commercials. The same way of working fits design, motion graphics and brand content, because the work has the same shape: an idea, many attempts, a decision, and a delivery.

What it is not

LOFTai is not just another image generator, and it does not replace your editing or 3D software. It is the place where AI production is organized, reviewed and recorded, and it hands work to your other tools when they are the right ones for the job.

Getting started

The quickest way in is Your First Hour in Loft, a hands-on series that takes you from an empty account to an approved result in six short lessons. Core Concepts explains the handful of ideas everything else is built on.

Teams that also need to plan people and budgets use LOFT Resource alongside LOFTai.
