Timesheet
Overview
The Timesheet page is where you record the hours you worked each day, one week at a time. Each row is a project and each column is a day. Enter a number of hours such as 7.5, or 7:30 for hours and minutes. Cells save as soon as you leave them.
Which projects appear
- Assigned — projects you are booked on, worked on, or already logged hours against this week (the default)
- In Progress — every project currently in progress
- All — every project
- Leave Time — adds rows for Vacation, Sick Day, Holiday and Unpaid Leave
Switch between Assigned, In Progress and All Projects with the toggle above the sheet. The Leave time chip adds or hides the leave rows.
Suggested hours
The sheet fills in a suggestion for each day it knows something about, so most weeks you only confirm or correct. Two sources feed it:
- Your activity (teal) — the time you actually spent in a project, measured from the assets you had open. When this exists for a day it is the suggestion.
- The planner (amber) — the hours production booked you for. Used for days with no tracked activity.
Typing over a suggestion records your hours; clicking into a cell and leaving it unchanged records the suggestion as is. Hover a cell to see where its number came from. The summary cards above the sheet total the week, split into project hours and leave.
Submitting
