Search
Overview
Search is one page with two tabs. A toggle at the top shows what you're searching, so the target is always clear:
- Files — the actual generations (individual asset items), searched by name, prompt, or description and shown as a visual thumbnail grid
- Assets — the asset records (metadata), shown as a filterable table by library, type, and status
The active tab is saved in the URL (?type=files or ?type=assets), so it survives back-navigation and is shareable. Search opens on Files by default.
Files tab
Type at least 2 characters; the search runs after a brief pause and returns up to 50 results. It matches against file names, prompt text (for AI-generated items), and asset descriptions. Results show which field matched, with your terms highlighted, and a status dot on each thumbnail. Your query is saved in the URL.
- Click a thumbnail to open the full review tool (the same File Detail viewer — filmstrip, annotations, status, compare) over the whole result set
- Click a result's filename to jump to the folder that contains it, so you can see it in context
Assets tab
Assets appear in a table with columns for:
- Name — with the description and location shown beneath it
- Library — the asset's category
- Type — the asset type code
- Size and Version
- Status
Click any row to open its Asset Detail page.
The table's shelf lets you narrow by text, status, library, and type without leaving the page. You can also jump straight to a category from the sidebar under LIBRARIES.
Importing Assets
When a project has no assets yet, the Assets tab's empty state offers an Import Assets button. Import supports pasting rows from a spreadsheet; expected columns are name, description, category, asset_type_code, status. A sample preview helps you check the format before importing.
