# Organization Settings

_LOFT Portal › Organizations_

Name, preview image and the destructive operations — owner only.

## Identity

- The display name can be changed at any time; it's what everyone sees in lists and headers.
- The code is permanent — it's baked into URLs, app links and the organization's database.
- The preview image is the thumbnail on the organization card. Upload any image; it's cropped to fit.

## Deleting an organization

Deletion is permanent and takes the organization's database with it — every project, asset and record inside. You're asked to type the code to confirm, precisely because there's no undo.

Note: Cancel the subscription first if one is active, otherwise it keeps billing against an organization nobody can reach.
