# Project Detail

## Overview

The Project Detail page is the dashboard for a single project — its preview, key metrics, today's tasks, libraries, playbook, and activity, all in one place.

## Header & Preview

The large preview area shows the project image — hover to reveal an upload overlay, then click or drag-and-drop an image (PNG/JPG/WebP). The header also holds two hover-revealed buttons:

- Edit (pencil) — update name, initials, description, dates, color, project type, and visibility
- Project Playbook (book) — standing guidance the Assistant reads every turn (see the Playbooks topic)
- Manage Team (people) — add or remove members (shown to admins only)

## Team & Visibility

Every project has a **Visibility** setting (in Edit):

- Everyone — all users in the org see the project (the default).
- Assigned team only — the project is limited to its members; admins and owners always see every project.

Use **Manage Team** to add or remove members. Adding a person puts them on the project's crew (so they see it when visibility is "Assigned team only") and gives them access to the app if they don't have it yet. Removing a person takes them off this project without touching their other projects. Membership is shared with Resource's staffing, so the two stay in sync.

## Metrics, Recent Work & Today's Tasks

A row of KPI cards summarizes the project — completion %, tasks, people, assets, and renders today / this week / total. Below it, **Your Recent Work** lists the assets you have been on over the last week, grouped by day, with how long each one was your current asset — click any row to go straight back to it. Then **Today's Tasks** surfaces the tasks due now as clickable cards with preview strips.

Note: Recent Work is yours alone — nobody else sees your list. Loft records only which asset you had open, as minutes per day; it does not record what you did, when, or how fast. Opening an asset, uploading into it, or a generation landing in it makes it your current asset until you open another one or the day ends. The same per-day minutes let a show's hours be split across its shots and assets for bid comparison — always as shot totals, never as a timesheet.

## Libraries

The Libraries section lists the asset categories configured for this project, each with its asset count. In Local mode a virtual **Files**library also appears, letting you browse the project folder directly. Click any library to open its browser.

## Activity & Notes

The bottom of the page shows an **Activity** feed and a **Notes** panel side by side, for tracking what's happened and leaving messages for the team.

Note: On the LoftDesktop app you'll also see a **Sandboxes** button. It opens a list of the local working folders registered on this computer for the project. Pick _Use_ to make one active (the file browser and Open Explorer follow it), choose _Server_ to work without a sandbox, _Add Sandbox…_to attach a new folder via the native picker, or the × to unregister one — the folder and its files stay on disk.
